Dr. Adam Taylor

Biography

Dr. Adam J. Taylor is an Assistant Professor of Clinical Orthopaedic Surgery at UC Davis Health System, specializing in adult reconstructive surgery of the hip and knee. He completed his undergraduate studies with a B.S. in Biochemistry at California State University, Chico in 2012, and earned his M.D. from Drexel University College of Medicine in 2018. Following his medical school education, Dr. Taylor underwent an Orthopaedic Surgery internship and residency at Harbor UCLA Medical Center, finishing in 2023. He is currently in a fellowship at the University of Utah focusing on Orthopaedic Adult Reconstruction. Dr. Taylor is passionate about personalized patient care and emphasizes the importance of tailoring treatments to individual patient needs and goals. His clinical interests include joint replacement surgeries using minimally invasive techniques and navigated robotic technologies to enhance recovery. He is committed to ongoing research in improving surgical outcomes, particularly in post-operative recovery protocols and infection prevention. Dr. Taylor is board eligible for the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery, and is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and the American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons.
