Biography

Adam White is an Associate Professor in the Department of Computing Science at the University of Alberta. He serves as the Director of the Alberta Machine Intelligence Institute and holds a CIFAR AI Chair. His research primarily focuses on Reinforcement Learning and its applications within Artificial Intelligence, showcasing a deep interest in Continual Learning, Robotics, Knowledge Representation, and Intrinsic Motivation. His work seeks to bridge the gap between theoretical AI models and practical applications, fostering a new generation of intelligent systems.
