Dr. Adeel Zubair

Biography

Adeel Zubair, MD, is an Assistant Professor of Neurology at Yale School of Medicine, specializing in neuromuscular medicine. He completed his MD at Mayo Medical School and has undergone extensive training at Yale New Haven Hospital where he served his intern year and completed a residency in neurology. In 2020, he graduated while also serving as chief resident of his program. His academic journey includes a fellowship focused on neuromuscular disorders at Yale University. Dr. Zubair is actively involved in medical education and clinical research concerning a variety of neurologic disorders, including myasthenia gravis, myositis, and polyneuropathies. He has participated in notable training programs, such as the Yale/Stanford Global Health Scholars Program, to enhance his clinical skills and broaden his exposure in the field. Dr. Zubair is dedicated to patient care, particularly in understanding memory disorders, migraines, and muscle disorders, often collaborating with his patients to develop tailored diagnostic and therapeutic plans. His commitment to neurologic medicine revolves around continuous learning and adapting to innovations in the field. Dr. Zubair is honored to have received awards like the Gilbert Glaser Award during his time at Yale.
