Dr. Adegboyega Oyelere

Biography

Dr. Adegboyega “Yomi” Oyelere is an Associate Professor in the School of Chemistry and Biochemistry at the Georgia Institute of Technology. He received his PhD from Brown University in 1998. His research focuses on several key areas including Bioorganic Chemistry, Biochemistry, Drug Design, and RNA-Small Molecule Interactions. He is particularly interested in the targeted inhibition of histone deacetylases (HDACs), the design and synthesis of novel bioconjugates, and their applications in molecular delivery. Dr. Oyelere's work contributes to the broader understanding of molecular evolution and its implications in various fields.
