Biography

Adel Kauzman obtained his Doctorate in Dental Medicine from the University of Montreal in 1998. He subsequently completed his training in oral pathology and oral medicine at the University of Toronto where he earned his Master of Science in 2004. He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Dentists of Canada and is the head of the Department of Stomatology at the Faculty of Dentistry, Université de Montréal. Dr. Kauzman is affiliated with CHUM and has held several leadership roles such as President of the Association of Oral Medicine Specialists of Quebec and Vice-President of the Royal College of Dentists of Canada. He is recognized for his contributions to dental education and clinical practice, being an award recipient for his pedagogical qualities that inspire student engagement. His research focuses on the diagnosis and treatment of oral diseases, development of educational tools in oral medicine, and pathology.
