Biography

Adeline Ting joined Monash University Malaysia in 2010 as a trained plant pathologist. She completed her Bachelor of Horticultural Science, Masters of Agricultural Science (Plant Pathology), and PhD (Plant Pathology) at Universiti Putra Malaysia. Her passion for agricultural studies has led her to develop interests in Biodiversity Discovery, Environmental Sustainability, Sustainable Agriculture Food Production, and Microbial-based Solutions for Climate Change. Adeline is highly research-active, securing 20 external grants in her career, with 10 as Principal Investigator. Her funding sources include the Malaysian Ministry of Higher Education and the Ministry of Science, Technology, and Innovation. She has published over 100 refereed journal articles and 23 invited book chapters. Her research has been recognized with several prestigious awards, including the National Outstanding Researcher Award in Biological Science in 2018. Adeline has also received multiple awards for her guidance in postgraduate supervision.
