Biography

Adina Dudau has had a diverse career that spans civil service, private, and voluntary sector roles in Romania, Greece, and the UK. She entered academia in 2005, beginning her PhD in inter-organisational management, and later pursued a postdoctoral project funded by the Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council. Dudau became a lecturer in 2012 and is currently a professor of public management at the Adam Smith Business School. She has held research leadership roles, including Associate Research Director and PGR Director, and she currently serves as Associate Director for Supervisory Engagement at the Scottish Graduate School of Social Science. Her research is highly interdisciplinary and focuses on public management, integrating theoretical frames of risk and crisis management, complexity theory, and positive organisational behaviour. She has published in prestigious journals and is actively involved in editorial boards and leadership in academic associations.
