Dr. Adithya Sivaraju

Biography

Dr. Adithya Sivaraju is an Associate Professor in the Department of Neurology at Yale School of Medicine. He completed his medical education at Andhra Medical College, India, followed by residency training in neurology at Rutgers University, New Jersey Medical School. He advanced his expertise through a two-year fellowship in epilepsy clinical neurophysiology at Yale, subsequently joining the faculty. Dr. Sivaraju's research interests encompass surgical epilepsy, intracranial EEG monitoring, and the management of acute symptomatic seizures. He leads the PASSION consortium, which investigates the natural history and management of acute symptomatic seizures, aiming to improve patient outcomes through careful EEG phenotyping and longitudinal follow-up. His contributions have been recognized with multiple awards, including the Yale Young Investigator Award. He is dedicated to advancing the understanding of epilepsy and optimizing surgical techniques to enhance patient care. Dr. Sivaraju emphasizes evidence-based practice and proactive patient management, seeking to address unanswered questions in epilepsy treatment.
