Biography

Aditya Khair is a Professor and Associate Head in the Department of Chemical Engineering at Carnegie Mellon University. He obtained his Master of Engineering in Chemical Engineering from Imperial College London in 2001, followed by a Certificate in Advanced Study in Mathematics from the University of Cambridge in 2002. He pursued his Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering at the California Institute of Technology, focusing on topics under the supervision of John Brady. His research employs applied mathematical techniques to investigate problems in fluid mechanics, rheology, colloid science, electrokinetics, and electrochemistry. Khair actively collaborates with industry partners such as Procter & Gamble, focusing on fundamental studies that inform product formulation.
