Biography

Adnan Mansoor is a consultant Hematopathologist and Professor at the University of Calgary. He completed his undergraduate degree at Punjab University in 1983 and earned a Fellowship from the College of Physicians and Surgeons in Pakistan. He further trained at prestigious institutions such as St. Thomas Hospital in London in 1991 and the National Cancer Institute at NIH in Bethesda, Maryland from 1992 to 1996. Prof. Mansoor completed his residency in Anatomic Pathology and Clinical Pathology at George Washington University from 1996 to 2000 and later pursued a Hematopathology Fellowship at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center in 2001. His research interests are primarily focused on blood cancers, including leukemia and lymphoma. His work has led to the identification of novel diagnostic markers, the development of targeted therapies, and improved prognostic methods for patients suffering from these diseases.
