Dr. Adnan Prsic

Biography

Adnan Prsic is an Associate Professor at Yale School of Medicine, specializing in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, particularly as a hand surgeon. He has a focus on disorders of the hand, wrist, and forearm caused by congenital differences and trauma. Dr. Prsic completed his advanced training at the oldest plastic surgery residency at Brown University and thereafter joined the University of Washington as a fellow in Hand and Microsurgery. His comprehensive training at Harborview Medical Center, a leading trauma hospital, and his tenure at the Harborview Injury Prevention Research Center have equipped him with unique skills to address complex hand and wrist injuries. Dr. Prsic's research interests include hand trauma and innovative medical devices, along with an active role in medical education. He has been recognized with significant honors such as the Alpha Omega Alpha Gold Foundation for Humanism in Medicine.
