Biography

Adria Lawrence Aronson is an Associate Professor at Johns Hopkins University, with a joint appointment at the School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) and the Political Science Department of the Krieger School of Arts and Sciences. In her current work, she examines the resistance to foreign rule during the colonial period and its implications for the contemporary Arab world.
