Biography

Adrian Brown is a seasoned professional with over 20 years of experience in wealth management and financial services. He began his career at Deloitte as a Senior Consultant, where he guided clients to success by providing solutions in a complex regulatory environment. For the past 16 years, Adrian has advanced the organization at RBC Wealth Management, working in both Toronto and Montreal on complex assignments. He completed the Generalist Program at RBC Wealth Management, rotating through key lines of business, including RBC Dominion Securities and Global Asset Management. With years of experience in RBC’s Portfolio Advisory Group, he worked on the trading floor on Bay Street, advising investment advisors across the country. Adrian has spent a significant part of his career leading offices in Toronto and Montreal and currently serves as a Senior Portfolio Manager at RBC Dominion Securities, assisting high-net-worth families in achieving their goals and creating multigenerational legacies. In addition to his finance career, Adrian is a Certified Public Accountant and a Chartered Investment Manager, and he has lectured at McGill University, teaching graduate-level Accounting courses. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce and a Graduate Diploma in Accounting from McGill University. Adrian is also involved in volunteer work, serving on the board of Spread Joy, an organization that provides hospitalized children with Joy Boxes to inspire entertainment, education, and joy. He has also supported youth and families' emotional well-being through his roles at Youthlink and Els Autism. Adrian is a proud father and contributes to his alma mater through the Adrian Brown Bursary to benefit students in the Desautels Faculty of Management.
