Biography

Adrian Fung is an Associate Professor at Macquarie University and a Clinical Associate Professor at the University of Sydney. He holds multiple degrees, including a BSc in Medicine and MBBS (Hons1), along with Master’s degrees in Ophthalmic Science and Clinical Epidemiology. Professor Fung has published over 100 international peer-reviewed journal articles and seven book chapters. In addition to his research, he has held numerous editorial roles, including serving as the Section Editor for Medical Retina in Clinical Experimental Ophthalmology. Recognized for his contributions to teaching, he received the RANZCO Teacher Excellence Award in 2019 and the Macula Society Travel Grant Award in 2020. Professor Fung is actively involved in various professional committees, contributing his expertise to RANZCO and several international ophthalmology organizations.
