Biography

Adrian Legaria is a political scientist and researcher specializing in European integration, migration studies, and international relations. He holds a PhD in International Political Economy from King's College London. Legaria has served as a Lecturer in Italian Politics and as a Graduate Teaching Assistant in the School of Security Studies and the School of Politics & Economics. His doctoral research focused on intra-European migration, with particular emphasis on the political economy of Spain and Italy in the context of Brexit and mobility to the UK. Since 2023, he has taught undergraduate courses including War and International Order, International Relations History, Political Economy of Migration, and Global Politics, covering regional political economy courses focused on Spain and Eastern Europe. His work combines theoretical insight and empirical research, reflecting his interest in the intersection of policy, mobility, and globalization. Outside of academia, Adrian enjoys physical activities such as rowing, swimming, tennis, and gym training. He also spends time reading books on Greek and Roman mythology.
