Biography

Adrian Nestor is the director of the Visual Recognition Laboratory and an Associate Professor in the Department of Psychology at the University of Toronto. He completed his doctoral training in Cognitive Science at Brown University and later joined the Department of Psychology and the Center for the Neural Basis of Cognition at Carnegie Mellon University as a postdoctoral fellow and subsequently as a research scientist. His research focuses on the neurocomputational aspects of visual processing and the development of novel methods for analyzing neuroimaging data. Nestor's work involves neuroimaging techniques including EEG and fMRI, as well as neuropsychological investigations, behavioral psychophysics, and computational modeling of visual processes.
