Biography

Adriana Duquette has been a faculty member in the Kinesiology department at the University of Windsor since 2005, initially as a lecturer. She teaches various courses including Research Design, Advanced Biomechanics, Exercise Physiology, Human Movement Aging, Applied Neurophysiology, and the Physiological Basis of Sports Therapy. After completing her Bachelor of Education, she returned to the faculty in 2009 as the Kinesiology Laboratory Coordinator, where she has developed and launched new undergraduate laboratory courses focusing on Physiology, Biomechanics, Ergonomics, and Motor Learning Psychology. Her research interests are centered on Laboratory Pedagogy and the development of Normative-Referenced Standards for laboratory courses. Duquette is also a Clinical Exercise Physiologist certified by CSEP and is actively involved in multiple sports. She has published articles in notable journals such as Clinical Kinesiology, Journal of Applied Biomechanics, Human Movement Science, and Theoretical Issues in Ergonomics Science.
