Biography

Adriana Wilson is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychiatry at Dalhousie University. She has founded the Association of Positive Psychiatry Canada and Inspired Living Medical. Her work focuses on Positive Psychiatry, Mindfulness, Emotions, Attachment, and Psychotherapy, aiming to enhance mental health and well-being through innovative therapeutic approaches. She holds a BA/BSc from the University of Winnipeg, an MD from the University of Manitoba, and an MA in Medical Education from Acadia University. Additionally, she is a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada in Psychiatry. Adriana has been recognized in features highlighting women reshaping the world and continues to contribute significantly to the field of psychiatric education and practice.
