Adrien Rannaud is an Associate Professor in the Department of Language Studies at the University of Toronto Mississauga. His research focuses on literary cultural history in Quebec from the 19th to 20th century, specifically women’s writing, cultural practices, the history of media culture, celebrity studies, and middlebrow culture. His teaching and research interests include Québec literature, literary cultural history, women’s writing, cultural practices, and the interplay of middlebrow culture with popular culture.
