Biography

Adrien Rose is a research assistant at the Oxford Sustainable Finance Group, where he specializes in transition finance. His research focuses on developing transition plans for hard-to-abate sectors and assessing energy transition risks. Before joining the Oxford Sustainable Finance Group, Adrien gained three years of professional experience in the private sector and civil society organizations. Notably, he worked as a carbon data analyst at Carbon4 Finance, a climate data provider, where he analyzed transition plans for companies across various sectors. Additionally, Adrien contributed to the King Climate Action Initiative at the Abdul Latif Jameel Poverty Action Lab (J-PAL), where he engaged in policy innovation and experimentation to develop effective and equitable climate solutions. Adrien holds two Master’s degrees: one in data, economics, and development policy from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and another in management from ESSEC Business School.
