Biography

Afshin Ansari completed medical training in Poland and followed with a radiology residency in the UK. He then completed fellowships in Musculoskeletal Radiology at James Cook RVI and in Abdominal Radiology at Ottawa Hospital. Before moving to Canada, he worked as an MSK consultant radiologist in the UK. Currently, Dr. Ansari serves as an Assistant Professor at Dalhousie University, where he is involved in providing a Musculoskeletal and general pediatric diagnostic imaging service as part of the QEII Radiologists team. His research interests lie in non-vascular intervention, which he considers a significant contribution to the QEII Radiology team.
