Dr. Agustina Paglayan

Biography

Agustina S. Paglayan is an associate professor at the University of California, San Diego, with a joint appointment in the School of Global Policy. She is a non-resident fellow at the Center for Global Development and a faculty affiliate with the Policy Design Evaluation Lab (PDEL). Her research focuses on education policies and politics, emphasizing the intersection of education and political institutions. Paglayan teaches courses on Education Policy in the World, Politics of Education (with a focus on the U.S.), and Politics of Institutions in Latin America.
