Dr. Ahmad Bani Hani

Biography

Ahmad Bani Hani, MD is a pediatric urologist at Yale School of Medicine specializing in the treatment of birth defects affecting the kidneys, bladder, and genitals in children. He obtained his medical degree from Jordan University of Science and Technology and completed his residency in Urology at Mayo Clinic, followed by a fellowship in Pediatric Urology at Indiana University. Dr. Bani Hani is board certified by the American Board of Urology and holds additional certification in Pediatric Urology. He has over 17 years of clinical experience and is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons. His clinical practice focuses on managing children with neurogenic bladder and bowel conditions, as well as adolescents with varicoceles. Dr. Bani Hani emphasizes early diagnosis and works closely with families to develop management strategies that improve the children's quality of life. He also serves as the urological director of the Spina Bifida Transitional Care Clinics at Yale New Haven Hospital. Fluent in Arabic, he participates in medical missions and enjoys traveling and photography in his spare time.
