Dr. Ahmed Sakr

Biography

Ahmed Sakr is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Windsor. He received his Ph.D. from the University of Manitoba in 2017. His research is focused on connected autonomous vehicles, vehicular networks including V2V (Vehicle-to-Vehicle), V2I (Vehicle-to-Infrastructure), and V2X (Vehicle-to-Everything) communication. He has a keen interest in applying machine learning and artificial intelligence in wireless communication systems and edge computing, particularly in the context of the Internet of Things (IoT). As a Senior Member of IEEE, he is actively involved in advancing research and technology in his field. He also maintains a professional website to share his research findings and contributions with the wider community.
