Biography

Aidan Robson is a particle physicist engaged in collider experiments at the high energy frontier. He is currently involved in the ATLAS experiment at CERN and has worked on future projects such as CLICdp at CERN and SiD at the International Linear Collider in Japan, along with completed projects like CDF at Fermilab. His research interests include precision measurements in Quantum Chromodynamics and electroweak physics, specifically in electroweak symmetry breaking and the search for new physics around the Higgs boson, utilizing advanced analysis techniques. Robson serves as a spokesperson for the CLICdp collaboration since January 2018 and has been a co-convener in various roles within the International Linear Collider community. His past positions include Physics Validation co-Coordinator for ATLAS and chair of the CLICdp Institute Board. He has an impressive academic background, having studied at Emmanuel College, Cambridge, and Oxford. In 2012, he became the youngest Fellow of the Institute of Physics, and he received the 2013 Makdougall Brisbane Medal from the Royal Society of Edinburgh, eventually being elected a Fellow of the Royal Society of Edinburgh in 2020.
