Biography

Prof. Aiping Yu is a University Research Chair professor in the Department of Chemical Engineering at the University of Waterloo and a Fellow of the Canadian Academy of Engineering. With over 26 years immersed in academia and industry, she possesses multidisciplinary expertise in nanomaterials development, processing, and chemical functionalization for engineering applications in energy storage and multifunctional polymer composites. Prof. Yu is a leading researcher in designing cost-effective nanosized materials for energy storage and polymer applications.
