Biography

Airi Lampinen is an Associate Professor and Senior Lecturer at Stockholm University, specializing in Human-Computer Interaction and Social Psychology. She serves as the co-leader of the Stockholm Technology Interaction Research group and teaches courses on Design & Information Society. Her academic interests revolve around interpersonal economic aspects of networked platforms and algorithmic systems, and she employs qualitative research methods to investigate these fields. Lampinen has supervised numerous Bachelor and Master's theses, focusing on domains such as Human-Computer Interaction and Computer-Supported Cooperative Work. Additionally, she has published extensively in these areas. Currently, she is the Principal Investigator for a project funded by the Swedish Research Council, titled 'Shared Uses Intimate Technology', and a co-Principal Investigator for the WASP-HS project 'Ethics Enacted Movement – Shaping Shaped Autonomous Systems'. She is a part of the Digital Futures faculty.
