Biography

Aisling Clancy is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Ottawa. She completed her Medical Doctorate at Queen’s University in 2011, followed by her residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Ottawa in 2016. Dr. Clancy furthered her expertise by completing subspecialty fellowship training in urogynecology and female pelvic medicine at the University of Ottawa in 2019. She holds a Master's degree in Public Health with a focus on Epidemiology from Harvard University (2020) and a Master of Science in Physical Chemistry from the University of Calgary (2007). Her research interests encompass patient perceptions of care, predicting and preventing surgical complications, and developing strategies to optimize the delivery of urogynecologic care. Dr. Clancy sees patients at various locations including Riverside Hospital and Shirley Greenberg Women’s Health Centre, providing comprehensive obstetric, gynecologic, and urogynecologic care. She is a member of the Ottawa Hospital Civic Obstetrics Group.
