Professor Dr. Ajay Malhotra

Biography

Ajay Malhotra, MD, is a Professor in the Department of Radiology and Biomedical Imaging and the Department of Neurosurgery at Yale School of Medicine. He specializes in neuroradiology, diagnosing and treating conditions related to the nervous system, including strokes from interrupted blood flow to the brain and intracranial aneurysms. Dr. Malhotra conducts research focused on comparative effectiveness in neurovascular care, aiming to enhance clinical decision-making and improve health care quality and access through evidence assessment. He has a deep interest in neurosciences which fuels his commitment to training the next generation of medical professionals to engage with the societal impacts of medical practices. His medical education includes training at VSS Medical College Hospital in India and advanced residencies and fellowships at the University of Rochester Medical Center. He is actively involved in contributing to the academic literature and collaborative research within the medical community.
