Biography

Ajay K. Sethi is an Associate Director of Training at the UW-Madison Prevention Research Center, where he also serves as a Professor in the Department of Population Health Sciences and Faculty Director of the Master of Public Health Program. His research interests broadly encompass the study of infectious diseases, with specific focus on HIV/AIDS, COVID-19, and healthcare-associated infections. Additionally, he investigates the microbiome and works to address public health misinformation. His contributions to the field have been recognized; in 2021, he received the Chancellor’s Distinguished Teaching Award at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
