Alagan Anpalagan received B.A.Sc., M.A.Sc., and Ph.D. degrees in Electrical Engineering from the University of Toronto, Canada. He joined the Department of Electrical, Computer, and Biomedical Engineering at Toronto Metropolitan University (formerly Ryerson University) in 2001 and was promoted to Full Professor in 2010. Anpalagan has served as an editor for IEEE Communications Surveys & Tutorials and IEEE Communications Letters and has co-edited several books on wireless networks. He has been active in various IEEE committees and served as TPC Co-Chair for renowned conferences. Anpalagan is a Registered Professional Engineer in Ontario and a Senior Member of IEEE, among other professional recognitions.
