Biography

Alain Zemkoho is a professor of Mathematical Optimization at the University of Southampton. He has a distinguished academic career, having previously served as a Research Fellow at the University of Birmingham and as a Research Associate at the Technical University of Freiberg. His research interests lie in continuous optimization with a special focus on bilevel optimization applications in areas such as transportation, data analysis, forecasting, and machine learning. He has been recognized as an Alexander von Humboldt Experienced Fellow and has received grants from EPSRC for his research.
