Biography

Alam Saleh is an Honorary Senior Lecturer in Iranian Studies at the Centre for Arab and Islamic Studies at the Australian National University. He serves as the Reviews Editor for the British Journal of Middle Eastern Studies. Dr. Saleh earned his PhD, MA, and BA from the School of Politics and International Studies at the University of Leeds. He is also a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy and has previously taught undergraduate and graduate courses on International Relations, Security Studies, and Middle East Politics at several universities including Lancaster, Exeter, Durham, Leeds, and Bradford. Dr. Saleh has collaborated with policy practitioners and external professional bodies including the UK Ministry of Defence, NATO, the European Council on Foreign Relations, Transparency International Defence & Security, UNICEF, and the BBC.
