Biography

Alan Cantor is an Associate Professor of Pediatrics at Harvard Medical School and serves as the Deputy Chief of the Division of Pediatric Hematology/Oncology at Boston Children's Hospital. His recent research investigates the bone marrow microenvironment, utilizing various techniques such as proteomic approaches, chromatin immunoprecipitation combined with high throughput DNA sequencing, gene targeting in mice, and RNA editing to analyze inherited thrombocytopenias and predisposition to leukemia.
