Biography

Alan Groves received his medical degree from the University of Edinburgh in 1996 and undertook postgraduate pediatric training in the U.K. and New Zealand, completing a research degree in neonatal echocardiography. After finishing his training, Groves worked as an attending neonatologist in London and New York before moving to Austin in 2020. His primary research interest involves assessing heart function and growth using echocardiography and magnetic resonance imaging.
