Biography

Alan MacCormack is a Professor at Harvard Business School, specializing in the intersection of digital innovation and management. His research primarily focuses on management innovation and new product development, particularly through the lens of design deployment and digital technologies. MacCormack is known for his pioneering work in software development, revealing the benefits of agile processes and modular designs. His contributions to innovation management have been published in several leading journals, including Management Science and Harvard Business Review, and he has received multiple awards for his scholarly work, including the Wickham Skinner Award and the Maurice Holland Award.
