Dr. Alan Marco is a tenured Associate Professor at the Jimmy Rosalynn Carter School of Public Policy at Georgia Tech. Dr. Marco co-created USPTO’s PatentsView.org, a platform aimed at providing access to high-quality patent data, and played a role in the Cancer Moonshot Patent Challenge as part of the White House Cancer Moonshot Task Force. His publication record includes studies on market dynamics of intellectual property, valuation of patents, and the implications of high-tech mergers. Dr. Marco received his Ph.D. in economics from the University of California-Berkeley and his B.A. in mathematics and economics from Skidmore College.
