Biography

Alan Miller is an Associate Professor at Western Law, Western University, where he holds the Stephen Dattels Chair in Corporate Finance Law. He completed his B.A. in 1998 from the University of California, Berkeley, followed by a J.D. in 2001 from Northwestern University, and subsequently earned an M.S. in 2006 and a Ph.D. in 2009 from the California Institute of Technology. His scholarly work has been published in prestigious journals across law, economics, and political science, including the New York University Law Review and the Iowa Law Review. Recognized for his contributions, he co-awarded the Jerry S. Cohen Award for Antitrust Scholarship in 2018. Miller currently serves as an associate editor for the interdisciplinary journal Mathematical Social Sciences and is actively seeking graduate students in Law Economics and Corporate Law.
