Biography

Alasdair Reid is a composer for film and television with extensive experience in drama and documentary productions. He graduated from the National Film & Television School in the UK and has written music for hundreds of hours of television, contributing to BAFTA and RTS award-winning projects. At the Berlinale in 2006, he won the VW Score Prize. With twenty years of experience as an educator in both the UK and Germany, he specializes in drums and percussion, instrumental teaching, and film sound theory.
