Dr. Albert Price

Biography

Albert Price is a well-known periodontist with over 40 years of clinical care experience in teaching periodontics and implant dentistry. He became a Clinical Associate Professor in 2006 and has authored numerous book chapters and published papers focusing on wound healing, surgical implants, and bone graft augmentations. Throughout his career, Dr. Price has mentored dental students, periodontal residents, and implant fellows, contributing significantly to their professional development. His current teaching responsibilities include the development of a digital dentistry curriculum in collaboration with Jess Liu. Dr. Price is a fellow of the International College of Dentists and actively participates in various dental societies, including the American Dental Association and the International Association for Dental Research. He holds degrees from Boston University, the University of Pennsylvania, and Colgate University. His research includes a randomized controlled clinical trial evaluating a-BSM use in Sinus Lift Antral Augmentation, among other funded projects. He is associated with both Boston University and Boston Medical Center, where he contributes to multiple sponsored research projects.
