Alberto Abadie is a Professor at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in the Department of Statistics. He received his Ph.D. in Economics from MIT in 1999. After graduating, he joined the faculty at Harvard Kennedy School and was promoted to full professor in 2005. He returned to MIT in 2016. Professor Abadie has served as an Associate Editor for AER: Insights and previously held the position of Editor for the Review of Economics and Statistics, as well as Associate Editor for the Econometrica Journal and Business Economic Statistics. He is a Fellow of the Econometric Society and a member of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences.
