Biography

Albina Danilova is an Associate Professor and Programme Director of the MSc Financial Mathematics programme in the Department of Mathematics at the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE). She joined LSE in 2009, having previously held a postdoctoral position in the Department of Mathematics at Carnegie Mellon University and a Nomura Junior Research Fellowship at the Mathematical Institute, University of Oxford. Albina obtained her PhD from the Department of Operations Research and Financial Engineering at Princeton University. Her research spans various areas including asymmetric information, derivative pricing, stochastic calculus, insider trading, stochastic control, and equilibrium theory. She actively contributes to the academic community by serving as the EDI Officer within her department and continues to engage in research that addresses complex problems in financial mathematics.
