Biography

Alec Bass is an Assistant Professor at the Université de Montréal focusing on rehabilitation and health sciences, specifically in the context of physiotherapy. He has extensive research expertise in the creation, validation, and implementation of assessment approaches for physical and cardiopulmonary functions within various clinical practice settings. His work addresses both public and private healthcare environments, as well as both synchronous and asynchronous practice modalities. Professor Bass is involved in designing and evaluating interventions aimed at cardiovascular and pulmonary prevention, prehabilitation, and rehabilitation, ensuring they are adapted to diverse clinical contexts.
