Biography

Alecto Hardwick is a Hody Lecturer in Ancient Greek at Wadham College, University of Oxford. Previously known as Alexandra Hardwick, she completed her DPhil at Oxford in 2021. Alecto is deeply committed to outreach and has been a core humanities tutor for the Opportunity Oxford undergraduate bridging program, focusing on supporting underrepresented backgrounds. Her public lectures and collaborations aim to broaden the understanding of Classics within modern contexts, and she actively participates in various educational outreach programs.
