Biography

Aleh Tsyvinski is the Arthur M. Okun Professor of Economics at Yale University. He earned his Ph.D. and M.A. in Economics from the University of Minnesota in 2003 and holds a B.A. in Economics Banking from Belarus State Economic University, graduating with highest honors in 1998. His research interests encompass Financial Economics, International Finance, Macroeconomics, Optimal Fiscal Policy, and Public Economics. Throughout his academic career, Tsyvinski has contributed significantly to the fields of macroeconomics and public finance, exploring complex fiscal and economic policies.
