Alejandra Barriales-Bouche holds a Licenciatura in Spanish Philology from the University of Oviedo (1997) and received an M.A. and Ph.D. in Hispanic Literatures and Linguistics from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst (2003). (2005) and co-editor of "Zoom Zoom: Crossing Borders in Contemporary European Cinema" (2007).
