Alejandra Vela Martínez is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Romance Languages and Literatures at Harvard University, specializing in Latin American Literature. Additionally, she has explored the cultural contributions of writers like Rosario Castellanos and the societal impact of feminine aesthetics. Alejandra has served as a postdoctoral fellow at UNAM and has edited critical volumes regarding notable Mexican writers. Through her teaching and research, she highlights the role of feminine voices in intellectual history and seeks to redefine cultural narratives related to gender and sexuality.
