Biography

Aleksandr Prigozhin is an Affiliate Researcher at Utrecht University, having received his PhD in English Literature from the University of Chicago in 2017. His research focuses on media imaginaries, affective structures, and materialities that underlie novelistic remediations in the history of modernist and contemporary literatures in English. He is currently working on a book manuscript titled 'Modernism, Media, Politics: Common Life', which is set to be published in 2025 as part of the Hopkins Studies in Modernism Series by Johns Hopkins University Press. At Utrecht University, he teaches undergraduate and Research Master's courses in English and Comparative Literature.
