Dr. Aleksandra Jordanoska

Biography

Aleksandra Jordanoska is a Senior Lecturer at the Dickson Poon School of Law, King's College London, where she has been a faculty member since 2018. She has previously held teaching positions at Manchester University, Keele University, Queen Mary University of London, and Ss Cyril and Methodius University in Skopje, Macedonia. Dr. Jordanoska holds a PhD from the School of Law, Queen Mary University of London, supported by a fully funded 3-year Queen Mary Research Studentship. Her doctoral research focused on regulatory enforcement in the UK financial services sector during the 2008 financial crisis. She also earned a Master of Philosophy in Criminology from the University of Cambridge and a Master of Laws degree, along with an LL.B. degree in Criminal Law from Ss Cyril Methodius University. In addition to her academic work, Dr. Jordanoska has been a Visiting Scholar at various international institutions, including the University of California, Berkeley, and the Australian National University. Her research interests revolve around governance in financial markets, regulatory enforcement, and financial crime, particularly as it pertains to financial technologies. She employs empirical research methods and has led various collaborative projects addressing white-collar crime and financial regulation.
