Biography

Aleksandre Maskharashvili is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Linguistics at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Prior to this position, he was a Visiting Assistant Professor in the same department and has experience as a postdoctoral researcher at The Ohio State University, where he focused on natural language generation. He has also worked on the CLASP project at the University of Gothenburg. Dr. Maskharashvili received his Ph.D. from the University of Lorraine. His doctoral studies included work with the INRIA team Sèmagramme, and he completed his undergraduate studies at Tbilisi State University. He is also a member of the team at the Open Institute of the Georgian Language, Logic Computer.
